English Marathon
is a competition where children are motivated to improve the language
on their own. It helps to improve the communication skill by enhancing
vocabulary, and through proper usage of words. Also, the marathon builds
self confidence and helps the students to develop the potential to a
great extent. Students from schools affiliated to CBSE / ICSE / and
State Boards can participate in English Marathon. This competition is
also open for Vernacular Medium Schools. Participation in English
Marathon is a delightful way for a child to learn the language. The
competition is designed to help students improve in their spellings,
increase their vocabulary, learn new concepts and develop the correct
usage of the English language.

Syllabus for Std. : 1st to 4th
Questions will be based totally on your English language textual and the grammar text followed by the respective school, for the particular standard. So make it a point to read the textbook of your standard properly and go through the grammar section particularly. Also 30% of questions will be from the practice book made available by us.
Syllabus for Std.: 5th TO 7th
Question will be based on your English language textual as well as the grammar text referred by the school for the particular standard. Also 10% of questions will be based from your previous standard and 30% of questions will be from the Practice book made available by us. [Grammar particular - Parts of Speech, Number, Gender, Phrases, Idioms]

Question papers are framed according to syllabus of your English language textual as well as grammar text (Wren & Martin) and other grammar text referred by the particular school. Also 10% of questions will be based from your previous standard and 30% of questions will be from the Practice book made available by us.

Detailed study of textbook, Correct spelling of words, singular - plural, prepositions, past tense of verbs, degree, ly, ful, ness word, adjectives, adverbs, question words in proper order, similar and opposite words, joined with because, make question etc.

Detailed study of textbook, Correct spelling of words, singular- plural, degree, related words, tense, use of some, any, because, if, but, etc conjunction, adverb, nouns, adjective forms, article, preposition, similar and opposite word, full form, -ing form of verbs, forms of verb etc.

Detailed study of textbook, identify the correct spelling of word, word ladder, article, complete the expression, anagram, noun, adjective and adverb from- identify and change, framing question, simile, contracted forms, ‘-ing’ forms, identify the gerund, prefix and suffix, similar and opposite word.
